Summer Promotions

The Central Illinois Community Blood Center relies on a steady rate of blood donation to meet the needs of hospitals and patients in communities throughout our region. The demand for blood is constant, but the rate of donation decreases during the summer months.

Three ways to help:
1. Take part in our summer promotions.
2. Proudly wear your Summer Donor T-Shirt.
3. Tell your friends and family how they can help, too!

May 21 - September 8: Summer Reunion Students who donate during the summer will be entered in a drawing for an Apple iPad 3 or $100 gift card.

May 21 - September 8: Gas Gift Card Promotion All presenting donors will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $100 Gas Card.

May 21 - 31: Memorial Day Holiday Promotion All donors who give during the days surrounding Memorial Day will receive our Summer Donor T-Shirt*

June 27 - July 7: Fourth of July Holiday Promotion All donors who give during the days surrounding Fourth of July will receive our Summer Donor T-Shirt*

August 27 - September 5: Labor Day Holiday Promotion All donors who give during the days surrounding Labor Day will receive our Summer Donor T-Shirt*

Update your Contact Information and Sign up for Text Messaging
Sign-up to receive text messages from the Blood Center and receive reminders on your upcoming appointment, learn about promotions, find out when you are eligible to donate, and more!

Here's how:
1. Log in to www.bloodcenterimpact.org
Existing blood donors can log in to the system right away by using your Donor ID number and your birthdate as your password (mm/dd/yyyy format). If you don’t know your Donor ID number, you can select “I forgot my Donor ID” and log in with your last name and other information.

2. Click on 'Donor Profile'

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and opt into text messaging by entering your cell phone number.

4. You will then receive a text message with your confirmation code. Enter this code and click 'Confirm'
IMPACT is our donor loyalty and online scheduling program. This program highlights the tremendous impact volunteer blood donors have on patients and families in the communities we serve. By giving blood on a routine basis and encouraging others to do the same, volunteer blood donors help save lives by providing a critical resource that can come from no other source!
